Rush May Head Back To NXT

Over the last week several reports have surfaced regarding Lio Rush, and the backstage heat he has in WWE.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Rush was backstage at RAW last night, but was not used. There has been internal talks that Rush may be taken off the main roster, and sent back to NXT.

Backstage heat began surfacing in November 2018 during WWE’s European tour. Rush was a junior member of the tour, and he reportedly blew off what has long been considered as backstage etiquette for new members of the roster during overseas tours. Junior roster members are expected be at the Gorilla Position to provide water to other talents following their matches, as well as carrying coolers with drinks into hotels for the roster.

Rush reportedly complained to WWE management after blowing off advice from several locker room veterans regarding these duties. These small jobs are done to show respect to the locker room, and is passed on to the next junior member after being brought up to the main roster.

Additional issues include Rush allegedly bringing friends and relatives backstage without proper visitor credentials. Over the weekend Fightful Select reported Rush responded unfavorably to advice from Finn Balor after he spoke to him about having his wife sit in on rehearsals.
