Bad Bunny Moved To Orlando To Train Ahead Of Wrestlemania 37

This weekend WWE invades Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay Florida for their two-night WrestleMania 37 pay-per-view, which features a slew of title matches and a couple of celebrity guests.

One of those celebrities, Latin rapper Bad Bunny, will be teaming with fresh NXT call-up Damian Priest and competing against John Morrison and former WWE champion The Miz. While many are curious to see how Bad Bunny performs, WWE does have a set goal as to what they want the match to achieve.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the hope is that WWE will get some mainstream attention thanks to Bad Bunny’s appeal, with Priest getting the rub and gaining more of a star attraction for being with him along the way. The report adds that Bad Bunny had moved his headquarters to Orlando at the beginning of the year so he could properly train with Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak.

Bad Bunny first appeared for WWE at this year’s Royal Rumble matchup, where he performed his hit single “Booker T.” Later in the evening he would get involved with The Miz and Morrison, even hitting a top rope crossbody on the pair shortly after they were eliminated from the marquee matchup. WWE has followed up with this story on weekly television ever since.
