Booker T has pulled out from an up-coming appearance at Starrcast III, which will be held ‘ALL OUT’ weekend in Chicago.

The WWE legend was originally advertised to appear at the convention, but has announced he will no longer be attending.

According to Dave Meltzer, Booker T pulling out of the event is due to wanting to be in the middle of the ‘WWE vs. AEW War’. WWE reportedly has another major counter which should be revealed shortly.

“He evidently said when pulling out that he found out the WWE vs. AEW war was very real and he didn’t want to be in the middle of it.  I’ve been told to expect another major counter by WWE shortly.”

WWE’s “major counter” is unknown at the time of this report. Former WWE stars Mick Foley and Sting are booked for Starrcast II. While Mick Foley opted out of a legends contract in 2014, Sting was still under contract as of 2017. If Sting is still under a legends contract, WWE could attempt to block him from appearing at Starrcast if they need him for another event.
