Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is set to make his return to the company.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, multiple WWE sources have revealed Braun Strowman is scheduled to be at this Monday’s edition of RAW in Kansas City.

“Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment, PWInsider.com has learned. Multiple WWE sources confirmed this morning Strowman will be at this Monday’s Raw in Kansas City.”

Earlier this week, Fightful Select revealed Strowman’s potential return, revealing internal pitches were made within the company.

Since his release in June 2021, Strowman has had eight matches on the independent scene, all of which he has won. Strowman has also remained a prominent figure in the ‘Control Your Narrative’ promotion, which is lead by former WWE Superstar EC3.

At several points over the past year, Strowman has been rumoured to be close to signing with various major wrestling promotions, including All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling.

In the run up to Bound For Glory last year, reports emerged that IMPACT, more specifically Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore, had had discussions with Strowman regarding a potential appearance at the Pay-Per-View, however this obviously didn’t come into fruition.
