Cody Passes On WWE Offer

Cody is currently in the U.K, and made an interesting comment during a podcast appearance for Fight Forever Wrestling. The promotion has setup a special production of Bruce Prichard’s Something to Wrestle podcast in Liverpool, and Cody was a special guest on the program.

Cody revealed that he had “passed on the WWE offer a few weeks ago” according to WrestleTalk. This was in response to a fan asking him if he will ever return to the WWE.

Cody’s Ring Of Honor contract ended October 31st according to The Wrestling Observer, and he is currently working on an appearance based deal.

Cody also added that with the success of the ALL IN event, there is a need for a non-PG product in the wrestling landscape.

Cody is currently linked to the All Elite Wrestling promotion, which filed trademarks last month. No official announcement was made on the promotion, but Cody did hint that an ALL IN 2 is coming in 2019.

Jim Ross recently stated on his podcast that an ALL IN 2 event is expected to happen around May of 2019, although no official announcement has been made.
