Damien Priest has won the vacant NXT North American Championship.
Priest was victorious during Saturday night’s NXT Takeover: XXX, defeating Johnny Gargano, Velveteen Dream, Bronson Reed, and Cameron Grimes in a Fatal 5-Way Ladder Match.
The finish of the match saw Priest and Gargano at the top of the ladder, with Gargano unbuckling the title. Priest ended up grabbing the title, winning the match.

This is Damien Priest’s first title since signing with WWE at the end of 2018. Under his former name Punishment Martinez, he was previously a ROH World Television Champion.
