Daniel Bryan Catches Knee During Smackdown Main Event

Tonight on Smackdown LIVE, Daniel Bryan teamed with Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas facing Mustafa Ali and AJ Styles. The ending of the match had Mustafa Ali hit his 054 splash to get the pin on Daniel Bryan.

The spot at the end was botched when Mustafa Ali’s knee struck Daniel Bryan’s neck/shoulder area. You can audibly hear Mustafa Ali saying something that sounds like “Sorry Bryan” was he goes for the pin.

Daniel Bryan did return afterwards at the Smackdown Live taping for next week’s episode and had a segment with R-Truth. Bryan did not look visibly injured during that segment.
