WWE signed a number of former EVOVLE talent to NXT deals following the purchase of the promotion this past July.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has obtained information on how much several of the recent signees are being paid. The starting salary is $60,000, with an added bonus of $500 per episode of television. These agreements are short-term, and are set to increase up to $80,000 in January, with bonuses increasing upwards of three times when appearing on television.

The report notes that a number of people in the company are happy with having talent on short-term agreements, avoiding stockpiling and hoarding talent that are not being used.

Former EVOLVE talent who did sign with WWE include, Curt Stallion, Brandi Lauren, Austin Grey (Anthony Greene), Joe Gacy, Josh Briggs and new NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff.

Last year, The Sports Business Journal issued a report indicating developmental deals with WWE start at $50,000. The average base salary for those with a developmental contract was $80,000 per year.
