Match Finished Early Due To Possible Injury

Drew McIntyre had an injury scare at last night’s WWE live event in Tupelo, MS.

According to Dave Meltzer, the former NXT Champion faced Dean Ambrose in a match that ended up being cut short due to possible injury.

Mcintyre seemed to have suffered a knee injury, which caused the finish to be called early, and Mcintyre gained a win via Claymore Kick. Mcintyre was said to be limping to the back following the match.

A fan who was at the event stated that the referee did throw up an “X” to indicate an injury had occurred.

According to Meltzer, Drew Mcintyre is said to be fine now, and there is no word whether this affects any match he may have planned this Monday on RAW.
