Ember Moon returned home to NXT during tonight’s NXT Takeover 31 pay-per-view.
Following a successful title against against Candice LeRae, Io Shirai was met by another surprise appearance by Toni Storm, who proclaimed she’s ready to shakeup the NXT Women’s division.
While Shirai was still in the ring, video aired of a mysterious person riding a motorcycle in the WWE Performance Center parking lot. The person was revealed as former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon.

Moon has been out of action for a year, suffering an Achilles tendon injury, last wrestling under the Monday Night RAW brand.
NXT has been teasing a mystery person via vignettes, fans have been speculating which former Champion would make a return to the black-and-yellow brand.
