Testsuya Naito has become the first-ever double IWGP champion, defeating Kazuchika Okada during night two of Wrestle Kingdom 14.

The final moments of the match saw Okada hitting Naito with a series of Rainmakers, but could not score the victory. Naito ended up getting the win after a Destino.

Naito won the opportunity to face the IWGP Heavyweight Champion during night one of Wrestle Kingdom, after defeating Jay White. Okada defeating Kota Ibushi to advance to today’s title defense.

Following the match, KENTA blindsided Naito and began attacking to new double champion. BUSHI came out to make the save.

Naito previously held the IWGP Heavyweight Championship after defeating Kazuchika Okada at Invasion Attack 2016. Naito is a five-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion.
