WWE will be presenting the first ever Women’s War Games Match at NXT Takeover in Chicago next month.
The match was announced following the Kabuki Warriors successfully defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox.
Following the match Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke made their way to the ring. Baszler, Shafir, and Duke attack Tegan Nox, who is saved by Rhea Ripley. Io Shirai then got involved and attacked Ripley from behind. Bianca Belair then appears and attacks Ripley. Candice LeRae makes the save and goes after Shirai.
At this point all hell breaks loose, and NXT officials attempt to gain control of the situation. William Regal then appears and makes the announcement that this all can be settled at War Games.
Officially participants for the match have not been announced, but based on tonight’s angle the War Games bout will include Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Io Shira, and Bianca Belair vs. Candice LeRae, Rhea Rhipley, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, and TBA.
WWE has announced Rhea Ripley will and Shayna Baszler will captain opposing teams.

NXT Takeover: Wargames will take place on November 23, 2019 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
