Former WCW star Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was involved in a serious car accident this past Sunday in Cobb County, GA.

According to authorities, Bagwell was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, travelling west on Cumberland Boulevard. He reportedly lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle collided with the center median and metal bench, then continued across eastbound lanes, eventually colliding into a free-standing bathroom at the Cobb County Transit bus station.

Bagwell was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. He was believed to be under the influence of prescription medication at the time of the collision.

Investigators are asking for public assistance if they have any additional information regarding the collision. They can be reached at 770-499-3987

In 2012, Bagwell suffered another serious injury following a car accident. He suffered broken bones in his neck, face, and jaw, and required the use of a feeding tube. He was taken to the same hospital in his hometown of Marietta, GA.
