Former WCW wrestler Johnny “Meadows” Condrone has passed away after battling COVID-19.

Local news reports indicate Meadows tested positive for the virus in September, and has been on ventilator support. He lived in Maryville, TN, a suburb of Knoxville.

He had a number of televised matches in World Championship Wrestling, and worked the majority of his career in Tennessee.

After retiring from pro-wrestling, he worked as a musician, and was well-known in the Knoxville area.
