Former WCW Wrestler Maxx Muscle Passes Away At Age 56

John Czwlytko, known for his work in WCW as Big Bad John and Maxx Muscle has passed away at age 56.

Diamond Dallas Page confirmed the news on Facebook, stating Czwlytko passed away on Thursday June 27, 2019.

In 1993, Czawlytko signed  with WCW, and debuted under the name Big Bad John. He was a mainstay on the promotion’s secondary television shows WCW Main Event and WCW Saturday Night. In 1995, Czawlytko was re-named Maxx Muscle, and became DDP’s bodyguard. He eventually joined Kevin Sullivan’s Dungeon of Doom stable under the name Maxx. He worked his final match in WCW in 1997.
