Friday Night SmackDown lost close to 1 million viewers in week 2 of the episode.

Early numbers posted by Neilsen indicate Friday Night SmackDown averaged 2,890,500 viewers over the 2 hour broadcast on FOX.

The show was primetime’s highest rated show in the key 18-49 demographic with a 1.0 rating. The episode had an 8 share in the first hour, and a 7 share in the second hour.

Last week’s premiere episode drew 3,888,000 viewers.
