William Regal made two announcements during tonight’s episode of NXT on USA. The first, a Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, the second, the “Gaunlet Eliminator” match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Championship.
The Gauntlet Eliminator Match Rules:
- Two men will start in the ring
- Every 4 minutes, another competitor will enter
- The only way to be eliminated is via pinfall or submission
- The last man standing will be named the #1 contender for the NXT Championship and will go on to face Finn Balor at NXT Takeover on October 4
Both matches will take place on the 9/23 edition of NXT on USA.
