Hiromu Takahashi has vacated the IGWP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

He appeared at the Road to Castle Attack event, relinquishing the title to NJPW Chairman Naoki Sugabayash. He requested BUSHI to be his replacement at the Castle Attack event on 2/28 against El Phantasmo.

Takahashi suffered a torn left pectoral muscle during an event on 2/19, teaming with Shingo Takagi against Kota Ibushi and Tomoaki Honma. His injury is expected to keep him out of action for up to six months.

He won the title during night two of Wrestle Kingdom 15, defeating Taiji Ishimori. Takahashi has held the title four times during his career.
