AEW Roster Was Informed Of Lee’s Passing Via Zoom Call

Following the tragic death of AEW star Brodie Lee this past weekend, Tony Schiavone has opened up on the ‘What Happened When’ podcast to speak about how the AEW roster was informed of Lee’s death.

Schiavone stated the AEW roster received an email to join a company wide Zoom call, where the news of his passing was revealed.

‘The day that he passed away, we received an email that we were going to have a company wide Zoom call in 30 minutes and I knew that if we were going to have a zoom call that quickly, something was bad. So, they told us about that.’
