Some Talent Were Kept In Dark Following Positive COVID-19 Test

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that at the last set of television tapings held by Impact a wrestler tested positive for COVID-19. Early reports don’t indicate who the talent was, but that they regularly travel in close group.

The big news coming from this is that only a select number of wrestlers within the company were alerted about the positive test and were advised to get tested themselves. Impact is currently the only major promotion who has not been actively testing prior to every taping, instead choosing to only administer temperature checks.

There were also a number of wrestlers on the roster who were not informed about the positive test, and only found out through gossip. Those wrestlers are said to be extremely “hot” for being kept in the dark considering the seriousness the COVID-19 pandemic has had on not just the pro-wrestling industry, but the rest of the world.
