There has been issues around Impact’s COVID testing, according to a report from Fightful Select (subscription required).

The reports notes they have heard from several names unhappy with Impact Wrestling’s COVID testing, with some mentioning that the tapings seemed to be ‘more unprepared’ and ‘fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants than any this year’.

It was noted that COVID protocols were a ‘major concern’ given that there was a positive test from the tapings. Multiple Impact talents reportedly hadn’t received a test across multiple sets of tapings, only being temperature checked and given papers to record if they’ve had symptoms.

Others on the roster revealed they “were encouraged to get tested after the outbreak of the GCW Collective, but it wasn’t enforced whatsoever”.

It should be noted, Ethan Page recently revealed he was quarantining due to contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.

Dave Meltzer recently reported, Page was part of a group of five or so wrestlers who hang out together. One in that group tested positive for the virus.
