IMPACT Wrestling will be covering hotel accommodations for talent beginning next week at the next set of tapings.
According to PWInsider, IMPACT has been working on providing lodging for talent for several months, and multiple sources have indicated it will begin happening at the Las Vegas tapings. In the past, IMPACT talent would only be provided hotels in Mexico, but would have to cover their own accommodations while performing in U.S. and Canada.
IMPACT has been criticized in the past for offering low per show guarantees for certain talent, and not covering transportation and lodging. This change will alleviate some of the financial burden for stars within the company.
WWE currently only provides plane tickets, leaving rental cars and hotels up to talent to pay for. Some top talent have extra incentives built in their contract.
