IMPACT Wrestling recently had two stars depart the promotion.
According to PWInsider, Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes have left IMPACT Wrestling, multiple sources have confirmed.
The reason behind their departure was due to current storylines ending. RVD had not been under contract with the company, and has been working under short-term agreements.
Rob Van Dam was recently interview by Pro Wrestling Junkies, revealing he would be open to a WWE return, and he is currently working on a project with the company.
“I would consider their offers and I’m actually going to be working with WWE on a couple of projects that haven’t been mentioned yet.”
He returned to IMPACT Wrestling in 2019, recently working a program with Sami Callihan. RVD has yet to publicly comment on his exit from the company
Rob Van Dam made a special appearance for WWE during RAW Reunion last June, despite working for IMPACT Wrestling at the time.
