Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance for IMPACT Wrestling during Saturday night’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view, defeating Ace Austin.
The former WWE star, who had a short sting in All Elite Wrestling last summer made his debut for IMPACT Wrestling, and plans to work the next set of television tapings.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Matt Cardona does not have a full-time contract with IMPACT Wrestling, but will be working this week’s television tapings in Nashville.
Cardona had a short-term deal with AEW, which has since expired.
