Matt Sydal abruptly left his match against Leon Ruff Saturday night at EVOLVE 139 in Queens, NY.

During the match, Sydal reportedly was kicked the wrong way by Ruff and began experiencing numbness in his arm. PWInsider reports Sydal was treated backstage by medical stuff. He is still experiencing numbness in his arm, and a neck injury is feared.

EVOLVE co-owner Gabe Sabolsky took to Twitter to announce Sydal received medical treatment, and will be ok.

聽He was checked out and was fine, but is still experiencing numbness and may not compete during Sunday’s event.聽 We are told there’s a “small chance” he will wrestle. – PWInsider
