Io Shirai has captured the NXT Women’s Championship.
During the final match of tonight’s NXT Takeover: In Your House event, Io Shirai defeated Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair to win the NXT Women’s title.
The final moments of the match saw Flair execute a Figure 8 on Ripley, but was interrupted by a moonsault by Shirai. This allowed Shirai to pin Ripley and win the championship.
