No Working Relationship Between AEW and NJPW

Jon Moxley was recently revealed as the ‘mystery man’ targeting Juice Robinson in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Moxley is scheduled to appear for NJPW on June 5 at the finals of ‘Battle Of The Super Juniors’.

New Japan GM Michael Craven released a statement to Sports Illustrated‘s Justin Barrasso explaining that Moxley’s booking with the company independent from All Elite Wrestling

“New Japan and Jon Moxley came to terms on an agreement some time ago, completely independently of All Elite,” Craven stated. “Our understanding is that he is free to wrestle in Japan. We wish AEW well, but have no working relationship as of now.”

Jon Moxley signed a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling which allows him to take independent and international bookings.
