Fatal 4-Way Iron Man Match To Decide New NXT Champion

Karrion Kross has relinquished the NXT Championship, four days after winning it at NXT Takeover: XXX.

Kross opened Wednesday’s edition of NXT on USA, explaining due to a separated shoulder he cannot defend the title. The injury was suffered during the NXT Championship match against Keith Lee this past Saturday.

Later on in the episode, NXT General Manager William Regal announced a new champion will be decided during ‘NXT Super Tuesday’, a special edition of the program, airing Tuesday, September 4 on USA Network.

The match will feature former NXT Champions, competing in a 60-minute Iron Man Match. The competitors will be Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Balor, and Adam Cole.

NXT will not air next Wednesday due to a NHL coverage on USA Network.
