Vince McMahon’s Appearance On RAW A Last Minute Decision
Earlier this week it was revealed that Kurt Angle was scheduled to be at RAW this week, but those plans may have changed due to Vince McMahon making an appearance on the program
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, the original plans was to have Kurt Angle return on RAW tomorrow night in Sacramento, but that decision may have been changed after it was revealed that Vince McMahon will return.
The word from backstage at TLC according to Johnson is that a number of wrestlers believe that tomorrow Vince McMahon will be announcing another draft. No one backstage has been specifically told the plan, as it seems stars are being kept in the dark.
Speculation based on WWE’s announcement is that Vince McMahon will address Baron Corbin’s job as GM, but that is nothing that has been confirmed.
Vince McMahon’s return was planned shortly before the announcement was made this past Friday, so it’s believed it’s a last minute plan, whatever they decide to do.
WWE Files Trademark For Possible New Characters
WWE filed three new trademarks on July 15, 2019.
As first reported by PWInsider, WWE filed trademarks for “Smackville”, “The O.C”, and “Shorty G”.
The only confirmed usage is the Smackville name, which is an up-coming WWE Network special on July 27, 2019.
Although not confirmed, several are speculating The O.C could stand for “Original Club”, in reference to Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and AJ Styles.
Below are the trademark filings from the United States Trademark Office.
