Lars Sullivan was quietly released from the WWE last month, with WWE officials confirming his release this week to PWInsider.

According to Dave Meltzer on the F4WOnline message board, Vince McMahon was still very high on Lars Sullivan, and wanted to push him, but he no-showed tv tapings.

Meltzer replied to a report with apparent details on his release, stating “Not accurate. Vince wanted to push him even now but he no showed TV.”

Ahead of his main roster debut in January 2019, Lars Sullivan was dealing with mental health issues, and wasn’t present for scheduled television appearances.

Lars Sullivan’s last WWE appearance was a sit-down interview with Michael Cole on the November 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
