WWE aired its Superstar Spectacle special today, showcasing a number of Indian talent teaming with top stars in the company.
According to PWInsider, WWE NXT trainee Kavita Devi was originally supposed to team with Charlotte Flair against Bayley and and Natalya. Devi was pulled from the match at the last-minute due to having to travel back to India for a legitimate family issue. Devi was featured on advertising leading up to the tapings last Friday.
Sareena Sandhu was her replacement in the match, she previously worked under the name Samara on the independent scene.
Last week, WWE filed a trademark for her name, alongside several recent signees.
