Back in September, news began to surface that John Morrison signed a deal to return to WWE. In October, WWE Backstage confirmed the news, indicating he signed a multi-year deal with the company.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Morrison has been spotted in Memphis, where Friday Night SmackDown will be held tonight.
It’s unknown whether WWE has plans for Morrison to appear on camera, or if he is visiting ahead of his pending WWE debut.
WWE has announced tonight’s main event for Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will face King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler.
Also scheduled for tonight, a Triple Threat Match pitting Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown will air at 8 pm ET on FOX.
