Daniel Bryan Medically Cleared Following Undisclosed Injury

Daniel Bryan has been absent from WWE programming following his loss to Kofi Kingston at Wrestlemania 35.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bryan has been dealing with an undisclosed injury, but now has been medically cleared.

Bryan was backstage at this past week’s Smackdown Live in Columbus, OH, and is scheduled to be written back into storylines, and could return to TV as soon as next week.

The original plan was for Daniel Bryan to get a re-match against Kofi Kingston at Money In The Bank for the WWE Championship. Those plans were scrapped due to Bryan’s injury, which caused the company to turn Kevin Owens and put him in a championship program with Kingston.

Daniel Bryan is scheduled for WWE’s European tour, which kicks off following next week’s TV. He is scheduled to face Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship.
