WWE sponsor Mars Wrigley Confectionary has reportedly reached out to WWE following offensive remarks made by Lars Sullivan on message boards several years ago.

Two reddit users have received the same response from Mars Wrigley Confectionery when asked for comment on the situation.

Sullivan has apologized for offensive statements made on the BodyBuilding.com message board.

Sullivan released the following statement earlier today.

“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”
