MLW Owner Calls Out Promotion Attempting To “Raid” Talent

Major League Wrestling owner Court Bauer has been vocal about companies attempting to get talent from his promotion. Bauer took to Twitter today to state that two attempted talent “raids” happened in days leading into tonight’s MLW live TV debut on beinSports.

Bauer hinted that Ring Of Honor may have been the promotion looking to acquire talent from Major League Wrestling. ROH is trying to get some surprises for their Final Battle pay-per-view tonight in New York, and based on Bauer’s tweet it seems that they tried and failed.

Ring of Honor recently signed Brody King and PCO to exclusive deals, and both wrestlers pulled out of this weekend’s MLW shows due to the signings.

Court Bauer, who is a former WWE creative writer spoke recently on WWE setting up a meeting with Ultimo Ninja and Garza Jr. this past spring while they were working with MLW. Both were allegedly offered deals while the duo was supposed to be doing work for MLW. WWE executives apparently met with them in an Orlando location while the duo was supposed to do pre-tapes.
