New Main Event Set For Impact Slammiversary, Another Former WWE Star Teased To Appear

Following the termination of Tessa Blanchard, and the announcement Michael Elgin will no longer appear on Impact Wrestling programming, the company has a new main event set for their Slammiversary PPV.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), the new main event will be a Four-Way Match involving Trey, Ace Austin, Eddie Edwards and a mystery opponent.

The match is expected to be announced tonight during Impact on AXS.

Also set for the PPV, The North will defend the Impact Tag Team Championship against Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan.

During tonight’s episode we will see another tease on a former WWE star possibly appearing at Slammiversary. During the episode, the company will tease the return of Eric Young.
