Jay White Becomes First-Ever ‘Quadruple Crown Champion’ in NJPW

Jay White has proclaimed himself “the real belt collector” after winning the NEVER Openweight Championship on day one of  New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestling Dontaku.

White defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match just shy of 40 minutes, securing the win after a Blade Runner.

Following the match, White called himself the first-ever quadruple crown champion in New Japan history, winning the WGP Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, IWGP US, and NEVER Openweight Championships.
