Moxley Makes Surprise Return At World Tag League Finals

Jon Moxley made his New Japan Pro-Wrestling return today during the World Tag League finals.

Moxley issued a challenge to IWGP US Champion Lance Archer at Wrestle Kingdom 14,

“I will take my belt back. Tokyo Dome! Wrestle Kingdom. Texas Deathmatch,” Moxley said.

Jon Moxley was stripped of the IWGP US Championship in October following weather issues which caused travel delays in appearing at NJPW King Of Pro-Wrestling event against Juice Robinson. The title was vacated, and Lance Archer defeated Robinson to win the gold.

Video footage from today’s event shows Moxley making his way through the crowd, issuing a challenge, and brawling with Archer to the backstage area.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling presents Wrestle Kindom 14, a two-day event on 1/4 and 1/5.
