New Japan Pro-Wrestling is close to signing a new English-language deal

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, NJPW is close to signing a new deal English-language deal, with an announcement imminent.

The promotion previously had a television deal with AXS TV, which ended in 2019 following the purchase of the network by Anthem Sports and Entertainment, parent company of IMPACT Wrestling.

In 2019, NJPW announced the formation of an American subsidiary of the company, New Japan Pro-Wrestling of America.
