Kota Ibushi Becomes Double Champion

New Japan Pro-Wrestling wrapped up the first night of Wrestle Kingdom 15 earlier today in Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Dome.

Kota Ibushi defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championship. Ibushi executed multiple Kamigoye finishers to gain victory and the championships.

Ibushi will now defend the titles against Jay White in the main event during night two of Wrestle Kingdom 15.

Jon Moxley Appears At Wrestle Kingdom 15

IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley made a pre-recorded appearance during the show, proclaiming he is the boogeyman of New Japan Pro Wrestling. He said he would be coming for whoever holds the contract to challenge him for the title.

During the event, KENTA retained the right to challenge briefcase, defeating Satoshi Kojima
