Tokyo Dome Set To Undergo Renovations

New Japan Pro Wrestling may be forced to change the location or date of their annual Wrestle Kingdom event next year.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Japanese sources have revealed the Tokyo Dome will be undergoing renovations soon, which could affect New Japan Pro Wrestling’s biggest event of the year.

The report notes, renovations could still be ongoing through 1/4, the date of Wrestle Kingdom 16. It’s unknown if New Japan plans to change venues or postpone the date of the event.
