Pat McAfee Reportedly Taken Off WWE Television

Pat McAfee has reportedly been taken off WWE television for an undisclosed reason.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McAfee will be off WWE television for awhile. The decision was made by WWE and not him.

While no exact timeframe has been given on his absence, sources close to him believe it may be until the spring.

McAfee has made numerous appearances for WWE, working two matches for the NXT brand. His most recent match was at NXT WarGames: Takeover.

The former NFL player received praise from CM Punk recently, who proclaimed he was had the best promos on the NXT brand.
