Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown will be overseen by Bruce Prichard going forward.

WWE made the announcement Thursday evening, indicating the creative process for both brands will fall under Bruce Prichard, while Paul Heyman will focus on being an in-ring performer.

In an effort to streamline our creative writing process for television, we have consolidated both teams from Raw and SmackDown into one group, led by Bruce Prichard. Paul Heyman will concentrate on his role as an in-ring performer.

Paul Heyman was appointed Executive Director of Monday Night RAW in June 2019, alongside Eric Bischoff who was in the role for the SmackDown brand.

Eric Bischoff’s time with the company didn’t last long, and was replaced by Bruce Prichard in October 2019.

This is a developing story, as more details are known, an update will be provided.
