Long Time Tag Team Reportedly Leaving WWE, Former Champion Returning?

The Colons Reportedly Exiting WWE

Primo and Epico and Colon are reportedly leaving the company.

Former WWE Superstar Savio Vega recently spoke with Hannibal TV stating that the duo are finishing up with the company.

The tag-team has been absent from WWE programming since Survivor Series 2018 have had an occasional dark match with the company, but haven’t been inside a WWE ring since this past February.

The duo have been working for World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico as Orlando and Eddie Colon. Orlando Colon captured the WWC Universal Championship this past September.

When the duo signed with WWE, terms included them be able to continue to work for their family promotion WWC.

The duo was absent from WWE’s recent live event in San Juan, Puero Rico, where they are based.

WWE has both members still listed as members of the SmackDown roster.

Former Champion Returning?

During Savio Vega’s interview with Hannibal TV he also mentioned that former WWE star Carlito was contacted by the company to make a return.

Carlito was released from WWE in 2010 due to a Wellness Policy violation.

He made an appearance for the company in 2014 when his father Carlos Colon was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Since leaving WWE, Carlito has been a mainstay on the independent scene, and has landed acting roles on GLOW, and more recently an episode of Goldbergs alongside WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan.

Team RAW Revealed For WWE Survivor Series, Triple Threat Match Announced, Updated Match Card

WWE has announced who will participate on Team RAW at WWE Survivor Series.

During tonight’s RAW broadcast it was revealed that Seth Rollins will be joined by Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, and Ricochet on the red brand.

Also announced tonight is a Triple Threat Match featuring AJ Styles vs. Roderick Strong vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE Survivor Series – Current Match Card

  • WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Rey Mysterio
  • Becky Lynch (RAW) vs. Bayley (SmackDown) vs. Shayna Baszler (NXT)
  • The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (RAW) vs. The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingson) (SmackDown) vs. The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) (NXT)
  • Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles vs. Roderick Strong

Report: Sin Cara’s Release Request Not Approved By WWE

Update: 6:55 PM ET – According to PWInsider, Sin Cara’s release request has not been approved. He was originally scheduled to travel to television next week in Boston, but will be sent home following the WWE European tour.


Earlier today, Sin Cara announced he has has requested his release from WWE.

In a Twitter post, Sin Cara advised fans that he asked for his release from the company yesterday. Sin Cara is among WWE stars currently in Europe on tour.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the word making its rounds among talent is that Sin Cara has interest working with MMA promotion Combates America. Alberto El Patron, who Sin Cara is close with is the the former president of the promotion based in New York.

Sin Cara’s WWE deal expires in 2022. No word if WWE will grant his release.
