In recent weeks, WWE has made several changes behind the scenes in the company, including new hires, promotions, and departures.

Yesterday, PWInsider first reported Adam Pearce given a promotion in the company, but specific details were unknown.

In an update, PWInsider reports, Pearce has been promoted to Director Of Live Events, a role that historically overseas lives event, touring creative, and lineups. The role was previously filled by Michael Hayes.

WWE is hoping to begin testing live events with crowds as early as July or August, depending on how things stand with the ongoing pandemic.

Pearce will continue to produce matches, and oversee other producers alongside Jason Jordan, who recently was given the role of lead producer, replacing John Laurinaitis.
