NXT is reportedly dealing with another Coronavirus outbreak.

WWE has had to deal with several COVID-19 outbreaks throughout the pandemic, from PPV matches having to be altered to former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre having to miss several episodes of Raw.

Fightful Select (subscription required) first reported that another COVID-19 breakout is feared in NXT. This stemmed from a meeting/event on Thursday where Performance Center Trainees were required to attend. Several people in attendance were not taking the proper COVID-19 precautions, leading to some talent being contacted and told to quarantine, with others being pulled from Wednesday’s NXT altogether.

Dave Meltzer confirmed the outbreak, indicating multiple positive tests that will affect this Wednesday’s show.

PWInsider has added to the report, noting that a large amount of Performance Center and NXT Talents were moving and resetting rings on Thursday, which could potentially be the source of the outbreak.

It was noted that the enforcement of masks needs to be improved, as many weren’t wearing masks throughout the moving process on Thursday.

WWE are currently advertising the following for Wednesday’s episode of NXT:

Austin Theory vs. Dexter Lumis

Leon Ruff vs. Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott
