WWE Star’s Contract Expiring After Wrestlemania

Cesaro’s contract with WWE is set to expire this spring.

According to Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc., Cesaro’s deal with WWE is expiring shortly after Wrestlemania 37. It’s unclear if he plans to sign a new deal, or become a free agent.

Since signing with WWE in 2011, Cesaro has captured the WWE United States Championship, as well as the RAW Tag Team Championship five time, and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship twice. He also won the inaugural Andrew The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2014.

Prior to signing with WWE, Cesaro spent several years on the independent scene in Europe, Japan and the United States. He is known for his time in Chikara, ROH, PWG, and Pro Wrestling Noah.
