WWE Had Plans To Put U.S Title On Keith Lee

Keith Lee hasn’t been seen on WWE programming in over a month. The Raw star was sidelined because of health reasons in February, however, hasn’t yet made his return to the ring.

As per Fightful Select (subscription required),  Keith Lee hasn’t yet been cleared by WWE to make his return. The report noted that he isn’t currently factored into creative plans, however, he isn’t in the same position as Aleister Black and Andrade are/were.

It was also noted that Lee underwent testing following being sidelined, and is actively attempting to get cleared. There has been no word on the type of health issues keeping Lee out of action.

WWE had discussed plans to put the United States Championship on Lee at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February, however, Lee was replaced by John Morrison, and hasn’t appeared on television since.

Keith Lee’s last WWE match was on the 2/8 edition of Monday Night RAW, defeating Riddle.
