Former WWE Star To Make IMPACT Debut

Caz XL, better known to WWE fans as Big Cass recently returned to pro wrestling after lengthy hiatus.

According to Gary Cassidy of Inside The Ropes, Caz XL is “imminently” debuting for IMPACT Wrestling. Sources indicate he is either set to debut at tonight’s Rebellion pay-per-view or an upcoming edition of IMPACT’s weekly programming on AXS.

Caz XL returned the squared circle this past February for  Lariato Pro Wrestling, which is promoted by “The Big LG” Doc Gallows.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Caz was hopeful he would return to a major promotion, noting he would love to go back to WWE or appear for AEW, IMPACT, New Japan, or ROH. He noted he has had discussions with Gallows and Anderson.

“I would love to go to AEW. I’d love to go back to WWE, go to AEW, IMPACT, New Japan, Ring of Honor, wherever. Those conversations with Gallows and Anderson have happened and it’s something I would love to do. But one day at a time is the way I take it, I don’t want to look too far into the future. If a phone call comes tonight that’s great, if it doesn’t come for another 3 – 4 months or a year, that’s fine too. I’m open to go anywhere and to have fun, and to make a name for myself.”

Following his release from WWE in 2018, Caz has been open about his battle with addiction and anxiety.  He suffered a seizure at a 2019 House of Hardcore event, which he explained was due to alcohol withdrawal.
