Kacy Catanzaro Meets With Head WWE Trainer Matt Bloom

Following her hiatus from WWE, Kacy Catanzaro has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center.

In an exclusive story from Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens, Catanzaro was spotted today at the WWE Performance Center and had a meeting with head trainer Matt Bloom.

This past September, Catanzaro reportedly asked for her WWE release. Her last match with the company was this past July, and she has not been seen at the WWE PC since late August.

Details surrounding her meeting with Bloom is unknown.

WWE has removed Catanzaro’s profile from WWE.com. When attempting to reach the page, it simply states “Access Denied”

In an interview with Sports Illustrated Ricochet spoke on Kacy’s situation shortly after news surfaced she had asked for her release. Ricochet stated, “She’s still with the company. She’s not retired at all and she’s not injured. It’s a tough sport and we’re all hurting, but there is nothing wrong with her.”

He stated, “I don’t know. She’s very family-oriented and she wants kids, so she doesn’t know if being on the road so much is for her. For me, I’m already too deep—I’m on the road all the time. She loves wrestling and she loves it here, and she’s so good at it, so it’s a very tough decision for her.”

Catanzaro signed with WWE in January 2018, and was featured in the second Mae Young Classic, as well as a surprise entrant in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
